Rakastan vastaleivottua, lämmintä leipää – kukapa ei! Olen aina valmistanut perinteisen vehnäleivän isoäitini ohjeen mukaan. Se on yhä vakioreseptini, mutta kesällä halusin kokeilla myös kauraleipää. Oletin sen olevan monimutkaisempaa ja vaativan vaivaamista ja useampia työvaiheita. Onneksi olin väärässä! Taikinaa varten ainekset vain sekoitetaan keskenään nopeasti ja jätetään kohoamaan. Taikinaa ei siis todellakaan kuulu vaivata. Kohottamisen jälkeen taikinasta ei saa sekoitella ilmakuplia pois vaan se kumotaan pellille sellaisenaan ja paistetaan uunissa. Jonkun mielestä kohotteluineen ja paistamisineen resepti ei ole nopea, mutta mielestäni leivonta on nopeaa ja helppoa jos varsinaiset työvaiheet hoituvat nopeasti ja esimerkiksi taikinan kohotessa voi hyödyntää ajan muuhun.

Helppo ja ihana kauraleipä

1 kauraleipä
vegaaninen
5 min + kohoaminen + 30–40 min uunissa

– 3,5 dl vettä
– 25 g tuorehiivaa
– 0,5 rkl (leipä)siirappia
– 1,75 dl kaurahiutaleita
– 5,5–6,5 dl vehnäjauhoja

Sekoita kulhossa haaleaan veteen tuore hiiva ja siirappi. Lisää sitten kaurahiutaleet ja sekoita. Lisää vehnäjauhot osissa ja sekoita huolellisesti. Älä kuitenkaan vaivaa taikinaa sen enempää. Anna taikinan kohota huoneenlämmössä peitettynä noin tunnin ajan.
Kuumenna uuni 200 asteiseksi. Älä sekoita taikinaa (jotta ilmakuplat eivät katoa) vaan kumoa se suoraan leivinpaperille, uunipellille pyöreän leivän muotoon. Paista uunissa 35–40 minuutin ajan, kunnes leipä on kauniin kullankeltainen ja pinta rapea. Parhaimmalta leipä maistuu heti lämpimänä!

Se onkin ihanan helppo (olen itse laiska leipuri, joten tämä on yksi suosikeistani)!
Olen tehnyt leivän aina tuoreella hiivalla, mutta 1 pussi kuivahiivaa toimii varmasti myös hyvin! Kuivahiivan kanssa voi kuitenkin varmuuden vuoksi kokeilla hieman lämpimämpää vettä ja hiivan voi sekoittaa veteen yhdessä jauhojen kanssa.

I still can’t stop thinking about how happy it made me that I could spend 24 hours away from the city. In the middle of green, blooming nature. This was the first summer weekend. The temperature rose up to 25 C and I felt bad that I didn’t have my swimsuit with me.

I saw a sea eagle flying above my garden, had the joy of planting a new sea buckthorn tree, bathed in the hot steam of sauna, saw a gorgeous sunset painting the sky pink and fell asleep to the sound of singing eurasian bittern. The day couldn’t have been more perfect.
