Päällystä rahi neuloen

Pehmeät rahinpäälliset kudottiin viisinkertaisista räsykuteista paksuilla (20 mm) pyöröpuikoilla, joita suurennettiin kumiletkun ja teipin avulla. Muhkea rahinpäällinen koostuu kolmesta osasta. Ensimmäinen osa ympäröi rahia jokaiselta sivulta. Sen lisäksi tarvittiin kaksi päätypalaa rahin molempiin kylkiin. Palat ommeltiin yhteen samoilla räsykuteilla mahdollisimman huomaamattomasti.

DIY: Supersize knitting

The soft footstool pillowcases were knit from five-fold weft rags with thick,20 mmcircular needles extended with siphon and tape. The hefty pillowcase consists of three pieces: a long piece as wide as the footstool that goes around all of its sides, and end pieces that are the same width and height as the footstool. The pieces are sown together with weft rags with stitches that resemble the knitting pattern.
